Salmon Bay School is located in Ballard in the Monroe Building, three blocks west of Ballard High School at 1810 NW 65th St.
From the South
To get to Salmon Bay School from the south, drive north on 15th Ave NW to NW
65th St. Turn left (west) onto 65th St. and go three blocks. The school is on
the north side of the street and is a large red brick building.
From the North

Coho Alternative Elementary School and New Options Middle School (NOMS) were merged into one school
in the fall of 1999. This school existed for three years under the name COHO*NOMS. Both schools had previously existed on their own for about 10 years each.
In the spring of 2002, through a process involving the whole school community, the school was renamed Salmon Bay School.
