Salmon Bay Diversity Committee Meeting Minutes—April 27, 2006

In attendance:

With only two members present, we decided to table the following business items for a future meeting:

· Approval of March minutes

· Finalizing the Mission Statement

May 24^th Diversity Committee Parent Education Night

· Irene is working with Lisa Love, PFLAG, and the Middle School GSA to organize the event.

· Irene will let us know what help she needs in putting on this event.

Board Retreat Proposal

· Irene will request $_______ from FOSBE for the Diversity Committee for the 2006-2007 school year.

· Irene will request the same amount from the Middle School PTSA

Diversity Summit Update

· Irene has left email and voice messages for Jeff Clark. He has not responded.

· Irene will leave a message for him that we do not want to move forward on Diversity Summit plans without his involvement.
