Due to the high cost of the buses it would be appreciated if you would sign up for a bus only if absolutely necessary.  So many have signed up for the bus that we have been assigned 3 buses and yet we only get a total of 5-7 riders a day.  Bus tokens are available for metro.

Check your means of transportation: _______PARENT/GUARDIAN PICK UP

Transportation: As noted above, due to the high cost of transportation levy funds are being tightly stretched.  Currently we have 3 OST buses that are leaving the school at 5:00 with at most 5 riders apiece.   Please do not sign up for a bus unless you need to.  If possible we would like to cancel or reduce the number of buses. We can provide bus tokens for metro buses.    Bus routes are established by the Seattle Public Schools transportation department and are formed from student ID numbers.  Bus stops will be the student’s regular location or close proximity to his/her regular stop and take up to two weeks to set up.  We can provide bus tokens for students in the program.  For more information, call Michelle at (206) 252-1736.

To register, complete the form on the reverse of this page and return this form to the main office.  Most clubs are scheduled to start the week of February 25th and will run to June 13th.  Some clubs may start and end on different dates, so please mark your calendars. Almost all clubs meet between the times of 3:15-5:00 pm.

Students are expected to arrive on time and stay in the activity area for the duration of the session.  Students may not leave campus after school, and then return to class. School rules apply while students are participating in the clubs, as well as on the bus.

Middle School Out of School Time Program is designed to provide after school

programs for Seattle middle school youth and is funded by the 2005 Families and Education Levy.  Programs cover academic support, visual and performing arts, sports, as well as leisure activities.  These clubs are provided by the school staff and various community based organizations.  Students must pre-register and may not attend a club until a permission slip has been submitted. A new session starts in January and a new registration must be filled out.
